There seems to be more and more people Disney-Bounding. (Using Disney as an inspiration for their fashion.) I love it. When I would occasionally pick up shifts out in the parks, I saw a lot of people Disney-Bounding and it was great to see all the creative outfits people came up with.
And seeing all these people got me thinking what Disney-bounding would look like back in Walt's days when Disneyland opened in the 50's.
So these are two girls from the 1950's Disney-Bounding the two Adventureland desserts: Citrus Swirl and Dole Whip!
These are both period accurate dresses based on sewing patterns from that decade. I'm hoping to bring the Dole Whip design to life someday when I have the time for personal sewing again.
