Seven Tiered Ruffle Petticoat 1850's-60's by Caliypsoe Seven Tiered Ruffle Petticoat 1850's-60's by Caliypsoe
My latest commission. A seven tier petticoat for over a hoop. (Also called a hoop skirt liner.) This is the largest project I took on this summer and I'm going to be so sad to see it go. I'm so in love with how it turned out! This type of skirt is appropriate for an 1850's-60's era reenactment.

Custom commission inquiries can be sent to me on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/Caliypsoe?re…
The listing for this skirt can be found here: www.etsy.com/listing/160636048…

*Corset by Timeless Trends (Not period. Just needed something to hold up the skirt!)

I just realized that all of Scarlet O'Hara's 1860s gowns could fit over this!  Personally I hope you find the kind of dress you want for this crinoline/petticoat, but I'm just saying anything like the Twelve Oaks, Mourning Bazaar Dance Scene, or even Green Drapery gown would make a perfect fit! ^^

Absolutely! This would go great with Scarlet's gowns!

Unfortunately, this petticoat wasn't mine to keep. (I wish I had the time to make this kind of costume for myself! :aww:) It was a commissioned piece so it is with its owner now. =)

Yup.  This would fit well under any gown but I think the crinoline suits a ball gown best for its swishy twirly nature. ^^
